An Update on the Children's Department

Updated: Jul 25, 2023

The Library is working hard to recover from the terrible storm of July 4. We’re taking steps to ensure your safety before we reopen the lower level and this technical work is being handled professionally and carefully by experts in property damage remediation. In the meantime, you can visit our mini-collection for kids on our first floor.

It’s still summer and that means summer reading is going strong! We hope you’re having fun reading and looking forward to earning your prize for completion! And since a portion of our kids’ collection will be out of reach during the final restoration phase, our friends at Cherry Hill Library and Haddon Heights Library are generously extending FREE temporary membership to Haddonfield families through September – just bring your proof of Haddonfield residency with you and they’ll issue one card per family. So remember, summer reading challenges are running through August 31st and you can get your books here at Haddonfield and now also at our friendly neighboring libraries in Cherry Hill and Haddon Heights.

Check our website and social media for reopening updates.
