Haddonfield Friends of the Library Events

HFOL “Signed Golf Legends Program” (https://briggsauction.com/february-23-lots-51-100/#) will be going to auction this Friday, 2/23/18 at 3pm EST.  It will be an online auction and there are several ways in which to place a bid if one should be interested in doing so as follows:

  1. In person at the Briggs Auction House at 3pm on 2/23/2018

  2. Absentee bid on the Briggs Auction House website or by calling the Briggs Auction House directly at 610.566.3138 any time prior to 3pm        2/23/2018 – the auction house will bid for you up to the dollar amount that you have given as your maximum. This is considered an “in house” bid and therefore carries a lower buyer’s premium than an online bid.  https://briggsauction.com/submit-a-bid/

  3. Online, at the Live Auctioneers website at 3pm on 2/23/2018 – directions to bid online are below.  There is a registration process that takes 1 to 2 days and bids may be placed online ahead of time.  Other people will see that you have left a bid but they will not be able to see what your bid actually is until 3pm 2/23.

Here is the link to view the golf program on Live Auctioneers:

The program is Lot 51, which will be item #51 in the sale. We estimate the golf program being sold sometime within the first hour (3pm-4pm).

Here is a link to register with Live Auctioneers.  Once an account is created, please search 'Briggs Auction' and register for the 2/23 sale. The following is an easy, direct link for your use - you'll see the blue button that says "Register for Auction" https://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/116318_estate-antiques-fine-and-decorative-arts/

The auction house has a 23% Buyer's Premium for online bidders. That means that whatever the hammer price is, the auction house adds 23% on top of that for the final price. If anyone prefers to bid in-person, you are more than welcome to attend the auction at the Briggs Auction House.  The Buyer's Premium is 18% in-house (in person at the auction house or with an absentee bid called in directly to Briggs Auction House).
