If you love books, you will want to come to this years Haddonfield Friends of the Library Booksale. This sale has become one of the community events that defines Haddonfield. Because of the wide support of our citizens, each year we are able to offer over twenty thousand (yes - twenty thousand) books, records, videos, CDs and DVDs at the sale. There are books as many subjects as you will find in the nearest megabook store. And there will be a lot of them. Each year we sell over 15,000 books in six hours. Pricing is also very reasonable. Most hardback books are $1.00 and paperbacks are fifty cents. We also have a section of special books that are priced individually. This section may include brand new bestselling books in excellent condition, exceptionally old books, complete sets, books on art and antiques and other items of special interest. In recent years we have had a Mickey Mouse book from the 1930's, several books with colored prints of birds and flowers and a cookbook from 1850.

The following pictures will give you an idea of what our sale is like.

After the book sale, we invite you to enjoy the many shops and restaurants of Haddonfield. They main shopping area is just a few short blocks from the Library. You will find a number of restaurants and specialty shops to enjoy. Other events the day of the book sale include an Antique Auto Show along Kings Highway and the first annual "Yo, Dude" event.
